As an AI Analyst at Medical Group you will play a pivotal role in leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques to enhance various aspects of our healthcare services. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, developing predictive models, and implementing AI solutions to improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and business performance.

 

A.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

 

·        Data Analysis and Interpretation:

o   Analyze complex healthcare datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to our   business objectives.

o   Develop methodologies for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and dimensionality reduction to optimize model performance.

·        Model Development and Evaluation:

o   Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for various healthcare applications, such as predictive analytics, disease diagnosis, and treatment recommendation systems.

o   Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and validation techniques, iterating on models to improve accuracy, scalability, and interpretability.

·        Collaboration and Communication:

o   Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including data scientists, clinicians, IT professionals, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements, gather feedback, and iterate on AI solutions.

o   Communicate complex technical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, facilitating informed decision-making and project alignment.

·        Ethical and Regulatory Compliance:

o   Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and ethical guidelines in the development and deployment of AI solutions, safeguarding patient confidentiality and data integrity.

o   Stay updated on emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in the field of AI and healthcare informatics, incorporating industry standards into our practices and processes.

·        All other duties as directed by management.

 

B.     Education and/or Experience:

 

·        Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related field.

·        Proven experience in data analysis, machine learning, and AI development, preferably in a healthcare or life sciences environment.

·        Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, along with experience with libraries/frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and pandas.

·        Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights for diverse audiences.

·        Familiarity with healthcare data sources, terminologies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) is a plus.
