Position is Contract to Hire
The CFO's responsibilities include:
· Budgeting: Creating budgets and overseeing multi-year planning
· Fiscal policy: Developing and implementing fiscal policies
· Reporting: Producing and reconciling the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR)
· Government Accounting Standards Board: Monitoring and implementing GASB pronouncements
· Communication: Presenting information to the Board of Directors and community members
· Representation: Representing the company at meetings with other government agencies
The CFO will:
• Supervise team of 8 employees across the Financial Services and Customer Services Department overseeing recruiting, performance, and daily operations• Allocate and manage $40M investments portfolio, increasing portfolio by $6M.• Manage $45M annual budget allocated across 7 departments for capital infrastructure.• Support General Manager by developing and implementing strategic financial and customer service goals.
Must have a CPA and previous experience as a CFO, Controller or Accounting Manager/Supervisor.
Minimum of 7 years senior management experience
Salary upon conversion will be around $250,000
