Datastage DBA Developer

Must be able to work onsite this is a 6 month to 1 year contract

We are looking for a Senior Datastage DBA Developer to join our team in Chicago, United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our DataDtage databases and ETL processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Datastage ETL processes for data integration and data warehousing.

• Develop and maintain DataStage databases.

• Perform database administration tasks including installation, configuration, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.

• Work closely with developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

• Troubleshoot and resolve database and ETL issues.

• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a DataStage DBA Developer.

• Strong experience in designing and developing ETL processes using DataStage.

• Expertise in database administration, including installation, configuration, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.

• Five years of Oracle Database experience

• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database and ETL issues.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
